Welcome to the Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy.
The National Board Resource Center (NBRC) at Illinois State University is excited to announce that the 2013 window for the Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy is now open.
READ CAREFULLY
There have been changes made in the 2013-2014 Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy. There are two applications being offered for the 2013-2014 cycle: 1. The Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy or 2. The Illinois NBPTS Take One! Participant Fee Subsidy. Applications will be approved according to the Criteria for Priority. Complete only ONE application. Read ALL documents below for complete details regarding the application for the Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy.

Apply ONLY after completing the following: 1. Read Details about the Application 2. Decide which application you are applying for: Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy or Take One! Participant Fee Subsidy. 3. ONLY submit ONE application. 4. Complete the Practice Application to be used when completing the NBPTS Illinois Candidate Fee Subsidy. 5. Read Common Errors Document. |

The names of the candidates who are approved to receive the NB Illinois Candidate Fee Subsidy will begin to be posted on the Approval List each workday. |

June 15, 2013 |
NB candidates on the WAITING LIST will be approved on a first come first serve basis –IF funding is available. Those on the approval list must pay the initial, non-refundable $500 immediately at NBPTS MY PROFILE. |

June 18, 2013 |
ALL candidates, whose names are posted on the NBRC at Illinois State University approval list, must pay the initial, non-refundable $500 immediately at NBPTS MY PROFILE. NB Take One! Participants will be approved on a first come, first serve basis ONLY if there is funding after all of the NBPTS Illinois Candidate applications are approved. |

June 15-June 30 (4:30 p.m.) EXTENDED APPLICATION |
All NB applicants (candidates and Take One! participants) who apply and qualify for the Illinois fee subsidy will be approved on a first come first serve basis as funding is available. All candidates, whose names are posted on the NBRC at Illinois state University approval list, must pay the initial, non-refundable $500 immediately at NBPTS MY PROFILE. Take One! participants are not to make any payments. |
