Names will be added every weekday until June 15.

Scroll below to see the names of approved applicants who will receive the $2,000 IL NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy contingent upon making the initial, non-refundable $500 payment to NBPTS.

• Candidates who applied on or before May 15 are to pay the initial non-refundable $500 by May 30, 2012.
• All candidates who apply from May 16 through June 15 are approved on a first come, first served basis and must pay the initial non-refundable $500 within 2 weeks from the day they are approved.

On the List

If your name is on the list below, you have been approved for the Illinois NBPTS Candidate Fee Subsidy contingent upon you paying the initial, non-refundable $500 fee online at NBPTS.  Please return to the NBPTS website www.nbpts.org under Candidate, My Profile, to pay the initial, non-refundable $500 fee.  If you need assistance, call NBPTS at 1-800-22-TEACH and a customer service representative will walk you through the process.  You do not need to email the NBRC at Illinois State University.  We will be able to see that you made the payment.  The Illinois State Board of Education will pay the $2,000 NBPTS Candidate Fee directly to NBPTS for candidates who are approved and make the $500 initial, non-refundable payment.  By August-September, you will be able to verify that the $2,000 payment was made by logging into your Candidate Profile on the NBPTS website.

Not on the List

If your name is not on the list, it may be because of one of these reasons:

• You may not have shown up on the NBPTS list yet because NBPTS updates overnight and we cannot see the updates until the next day.  We will continue to look for your name each day on the NBPTS list.  Once your name is on the NBPTS list and you meet all the requirements, we will determine if you are on the waiting list or approved list.
• If you already registered and paid the $65, you probably did not check the box to release information to the 3rd party payer.  We are the 3rd party and we need to see your records to be able to process your application.  Please return to the NBPTS website under Candidate, My Profile and check the box to release information to the 3rd party.  If you have difficulty finding this on the website, you can call NBPTS at 1-800-22-TEACH and they can walk you through it.
• We could not find your name on the ECS site to check your license and we are working with ISBE to verify your Illinois teaching license.
• You did not submit a complete application.  You should have printed a receipt at the end which would indicate your application was complete.

the $500 by May 30, 2012. Once you make the payment,

Illinois will release the $2,000 subsidy to NBPTS.
