National Board Certification for School Leaders (NBCEL)

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) has announced an initiative to develop National Board Certification for principals. School leaders throughout the nation have collaboratively created standards and an assessment for principals and laid the groundwork for a new educator-leadership process for assistant principals, teachers, and other school-based educators.
